GPS-Responsive Active Aerodynamic Wing Prototype

Vehicle prototype

An ESP32, GPS, and two 12 V actuators adjust a vehicle-mounted wing based on speed. I integrated the hardware and refined the setup using qualitative smoke-flow observations.

Stockfish-Powered Smart Interactive Chessboard

Interactive device

A 3D-printed board places 64 Hall-effect sensors beneath magnetic plates, with neodymium magnets in the pieces to detect moves. An 8 × 8 WS2812B grid provides interface cues, integrated with Stockfish-based gameplay.

Smart Ambulance Priority Traffic Control Prototype

Demonstration prototype

Two Arduino Uno boards check ambulance identity and proximity via GPS, RFID, and RF modules before requesting a green signal. Companion apps provide hospital lookup, police notifications, and a manual fallback.

A point of view

Prototype with curiosity.
Integrate with intention.

Start with the system. Connect sensing, control, and feedback to turn an idea into a device that can respond to the real world.

devices can become.

I’m Punith Reddy B, an Embedded Systems & IoT Developer focused on connected-device prototyping and hardware–software integration.

Firmware Engineer · Device Prototyping & Integration

I work hands-on with ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators, GPS, RFID, and RF modules, with working knowledge of C and Python. I enjoy bringing components together into a working prototype and learning from how the complete system behaves.

04 / Build approach

From component to complete system.

Prototype, integrate, and observe how the pieces behave together—then refine the build based on what the system shows.

01 / Scope↘

Map the system

Identify the inputs, outputs, components, and behavior the prototype needs.

02 / Prototype↘

Bring up hardware

Connect the microcontroller, sensors, actuators, and interfaces into a first build.

03 / Integrate↘

Connect the logic

Join device state, firmware, communication modules, and user-facing feedback.

04 / Observe↗

Refine the prototype

Observe behavior in context and adjust the setup based on what can be verified.

05 / Get in touch

Let’s build
what’s next.
